Hey guys, So I often leave behind my website url when i give someone a comment on their new entries. Since I was new to this type of Internet Marketing i didn't realize i was ac
especially when your site is new, you do not want poor quality backlinks . . . seems like all i do is watch seo videos. I'm going to leave the title to a youtube video addresses a little bit of this since I cannot post the link. I personally wouldn't leave those comments until I had plenty of other relevant links.
Here's the video. Its a google hangout with Moz's Rand Fishkin. You should be able to find it if you go on youtube and search the title: SEO Best Practice Strategies for 2014 with Rand Fishkin of MOZ
If it's not a relevant site, I delete the link (from mine), or do not leave a link on other sites. Not sure if I'm being "too" cautious, but there's no reason for the link really.
But your site will have a huge mix of links from a wide variety of places. If you have quality links to your site and other positive metrics, I don't see it as being a huge issue.
I definitely rather be over cautious than risk some sort of penalty. I leave mine behind because i find people wont notice i left them a reply to their original post asking for one. Gonna reconsider that now.
I've had the same question. Anyone have thoughts on this?
Similarly, when folks from WA leave comments, they're often along the lines of,
"Good job! That's what WA teaches us! You'll get tons of Affiliate conversions." (Exagerated, of course)
It's off topic and sorta looks bad imo.
I hear ya, It looks terrible. I feel bad but when someone leaves me an empty comment like that I usually delete it. Those comments have little to no value. When people comment it needs to be engaging.

Hey guys, Hopefully some one here has a bit of experience in this niche' or ideas they can shoot my way!
My mother owns land in the Philippines. I'm not talking about a sm
That is a really good question. I would at least have a blog on the website, but not sure I would put it on the home page. I might have a static home page, and have a blog in your menu.
Depending on how long it takes to sell the property, you probably want to update it from time to time. Having some content on there will show some expertise.
You might want to also think long term. If people are paying to list property and not getting results, maybe you can use your mothers islands as a case study, then start helping other people sell their high end properties in the Philippines too.
I'll definitely have a static page so the site doesn't end up looking super cluttered. I can't believe the domain i got for this site too!

There could be some nice opportunity with this if keep things updated. Thank you for you're input!
EDIT: Do you think i should put the property on their own pages then add links from blog posts leading to them? I may even give them all individual blog posts which will also have a link to the page after.
Hm, as far as the logistics go, I'm not sure how I would do it. Pages and posts are not really that different, so I don't think I would do more than 1 post/page for each, unless there's a good reason for it.
Since you are just starting with your mom's properties, I would probably make them pages, but if you start to add more stuff on a regular basis, I might make them posts.
Fair enough. I'll only be listing 5 properties so I'll just make them pages. Thank's for the help Nathaniell.

From time to time and a lot more recently when i go to my site it will appear as a white page. I tried this on different browsers and other computers and run into this issue als
Two options and one you can do yourself.
You can make out a ticket and have the tech team check it out or you can isolate all the plug ins one at a time by deactivating them to see which one is acting up,
I am willing to bet it is a plug in, it usually always us. :)
Awesome, Thanks for the quick reply!
Any idea what this means? ''Missing: fn''.
That's pretty much my only error. I'll test the plugins to see if i can pin point the issue. If you have encountered that error at any point and fixed it I would love to know how.
