Creating a List
Good morning all my WA Peeps! I finally decided that it was time I started developing an email list for newsletters as I am told that this is the best way to market because the audience is much more defined. Using Mail Chimp has proven to be more than just a simple thing to activate on my website because I didn't want to be fiddling with code much. I tried several plug ins and none of them worked properly. What I ended up with was popupally which was fairly straight forward and seems to work well. With this plug in you actually generate the code on mailchimps site and paste it into the plug in, customize it just a bit and Boom! Done. I would agree with that. I know that I get tired of having my inbox full of junk. I'm sure that I am not unique.
Email marketing isn't what it once was. It's effective only if you've branded yourself and built relationship through your materials.

Anyone who ever sends me more than one email in 24 hours is spamming me (in my opinion) so I block the sender. Build a relationship with your readers by providing them with great content both in your website and your follow up emails. Give them something worth while to read before you hit them with your latest offer. Not everyone will unsubscribe to your list when they don't want to receive any more emails some will just mark them as spam.
