My First Proper Blog Post

Hi everyone,

So I'm at the stage where I need to create a blog post about my progress thus far, something I hadn't really thought about till this point.

I've been creating a blog revolving around homemade cupcake recipes, where I've been writing my own recipes as well as creating a sort of index for some of the best recipes I've found on the net. I've had quite mixed feelings about it as I'm not entirely sure how to monetise it just yet, but I'm just about to embark on the next section of the course where I'll learn how to make some money, which is very exciting. All I dream about is having the financial freedom to do what I want with my time so that in the future, when I have children etc, I can actually spend time with them. I also want the freedom for my husband and I to live wherever we want to without thinking "but how will we make a living there?" With these goals, I am very motivated each day to make progress within my blog and learn as much as possible, as fast as possible, and I want to get as much done as possible before I begin my new post as a teacher in September.

I want to begin monetising my blog by the end of this month, and hopefully begin building up a steady income by the end of the year.

I can't wait to be able to make my online business a full time venture, and teach others how to do so as well, the prospect of this is all so exciting, and I feel very lucky to have stumbled upon WA and to have begun this journey!
