I'm not sure what all the technical terms mean so that I can create the look I want on my two sites.
Hi Francisco! - you mentioned 'your two sites' - if I were you choose the one you feel happiest with at the moment and forget about the other one for the time being.
Promoting one site when first starting out is more than enough work for anyone.
