I have felt like that several days. Several days I have asked myself why do I do this. But there was a reason you started. Write it down and when you feel like giving up read it and remember why you started. Don’t give up. I’m not making any money. Let me get that out there. Yes I’m an Amazon Associate but I haven’t earned enough commission yet to get a check! Maybe this second half of the year will change for me. Keep a positive mindset. Word are powerful.

I keep reminding myself of my “why” to keep my goals in check.

I’m in the same boat as you when it comes to not making any money as an Amazon Associate. The affiliate programs in general aren’t the issue, it’s getting the traffic to the sites. I keep tweaking the keywords by changing titles, updating older content, and assuring my pages are SEO friendly but if they’re not ranked high enough in the search engines, no one ever sees it. Despite no organic traffic, I have around 2.5k visits from direct searches. Still no sales though….

The new move is to promote all over social media and start making videos. I’m maintaining a social media presence but haven’t started video yet. Of course, this becomes time consuming between publishing content, keeping up with socials, and self-promoting yourself to anyone and anything.

Just when I think I’m close to breaking through, I’m yet again faced with uncertainty. Traveling down a road of perpetual roadblocks I find myself caught between giving up and giving more.

I haven’t made videos yet myself and I’m terrified of a camera in front of me. It is not my comfort zone. But I think God is working on me. For Lent, which starts this week, He worked on my heart to not wear pants this year and only skirts or dresses. You’re probably like big deal. Well I’m a nurse. I’m a charge nurse! I wear the same kind of scrub pants, the same Birkies, and my sweatshirts every shift. Without changing style. So God is pulling me out of my comfort zone at work and the anxiety I feel just writing this down!!!!! Ugh ….
So like I said, God is working on me in my comfort zone areas
Maybe videos is what we are lacking …. Maybe that’s our next step 🤷🏻‍♀️
