First Private LinkShare Offer!

I've only had an account on LinkShare for a couple of days now, but I just accepted my first Private Offer! It was from a company I've actually bought with before and really love! This company isn't directly relevant to my website, but it's absolutely related, so I'm creating a sidebar text box for some links that will direct readers of my website to other places they may also very well be interested in.
I'm very surprised and very excited! I know this is just a small factor of my website as a whole, but it's one more than I though I would receive.

Don't just put links on sidebars. Remember people are on your blog to read your content so always weave links into your content. When people just slap banner or links on sidebars they don't do as well. So keep that in mind.

I just don't want an overuse of nothing but banners and links on pages, and there's no other nice way to organize links that aren't directly related to the page/site I'm blogging about itself.
The offer I received was for a natural and organic cosmetics company. It's not what people are looking for when they visit my site, but it could be something they're also interested in.
Agreed, you definitely don't want to overuse especially banners which most people ignore anyway. Text is always fine and links can be incorporated into text very easily especially when you're referring to something that is not immediately tied to your niche.
