I am totally new at this, never created a website, so take this with a grain of salt, but I was impressed, totally. It was simply layed out, pleasant to read and look at. It gives me a kick in the butt to get mine in gear, thanks for sharing Beth. :)

I think your site is looking great! You've done a lot of work so far! Very well written, I really enjoyed reading and your writing style is excellent, in my opinion.

One tiny suggestion if I may, is don't forget to add more images, at least one per post/page. I see you have images on some of your pages, but not all yet.

The reason I'm mentioning this is because it's something I did too. Did a lot of posts/pages on one of my sites and thought I'd add images later and well, sort of forgot to do it then. But, that's me...I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached some days. :)

I clicked on your ads. I think it is better to let an ad start a new window, instead of "stealing" your window. That increases the possibility that your reader returns to your page after viewing the ad. Because after all, your page is still there.
