Post tags what are and are them useful and how can i put them?

tags can be used as sort of an index - with categories as sort of chapters....
so tags ( normally single words) can link more posts together to give visitors a better experience - and give google a better idea of the interlinking on your site....
but limit the number and again add at least 6 or more posts to each tag ( they can make archive pages and thin content maybe limiting your website seo...)

how much tags for a post do you think is better?
i would go with 4 or 5 and get a cluster of about 20 for the whole site.
keep a list so that you can build up multiple tags....
