Hey Roy,
Google searching your question (see screen print below) Google provided help straight away, so am guessing others have been asking the same question.
Hope you find this helpful.
Hello Trish,
Thank you for taking a look at my question, it's appreciated.
I actually saw that article when I had a look on Google myself, however, I am actually logged in to my Google account. So I guess there must be another reason.
I hope you're doing well.
All the best.
Roy
Yup Roy, I'm still hangin' around the WA platform, helping out where I can.
Wondering... once upon a time, we were all given warnings about Google tracking our online behaviour and we (the Google users) were recommended to delete our history and change our settings to NOT retain history.
Maybe check to see if retaining your Google history was turned off by mistake?
You'd need to Google search to find out how to get to that setting, as I don't remember now how I turned mine off.
That's good to hear, Trish, it's good to be able to help people. You have been on the platform for quite a few years now, which has to be good!
Thank you for the information, it's appreciated. The interesting thing is that the search seems to work okay on my other Gmail accounts! That actually makes it more difficult to work out why!
A very happy Sunday to you.
Roy

You most likely cleared your browser history which interns clears that as well that’s my thought on it
Thank you for taking a look at my question William, it's appreciated.
That's a good thought, William, however, I haven't knowingly cleared my browser history, so I don't think it's that. Hopefully, I will find the answer soon.
Wishing you all the best.
Roy
Well, see you don’t have to normally know that you do it. You might have a program that actually does it for you but anyways, I would definitely look at that as to why you are having problems on the search. Try searching return on it and then do the same word and see if it works.
Thank you, William, I hear what you're saying! I did put CCleaner on a few months ago, I can't remember why now, but there was a reason! Maybe that has done something.
I do appreciate your help.
Have a fantastic Sunday.
