Transferring Siterubix to Hostgator With New Domain
Hey guys, I'm losing my mind right now so any help would be appreciated! I am NOT super tech savvy so please use small words.
I created a Siterubix website here and bought the domain name on Namecheap. However, I also have outside hosting with Hostgator for another website and would like to transfer my website and domain there. And that's where I'm stuck.
I've pointed my DNS server from Namecheap to hostgator with no problem. But now I need to get the Siterubix website there and associated with the name and host. I am completely lost. Hostgator hasn't responded to my ticket yet and I can't find instructions.
Someone mentioned downloading a backup of my Siterubix site and then just importing it to Hostgator and using the same WP theme. Does that work? And if so, how do I get a backup of a Siterubix site? I can't install plugins so that's no help.
Was I supposed to point my new domain name at the Siterubix site first and then point back to Hostgator? I'm so confused.
