It's a New Journey!
I'm so glad to have discovered Wealthy Affiliates. There's so much positive energy here, from the welcome message to the e-mails that gets me really excited to be on this journey of getting serious about my finances and education.
This was a follow up on what one MMI (Millionaire Mindset Intensive) trainer, Doug mentioned. Paraphrasing, he said in this day and age, when we talk about making money, it's in the internet. And no one serious about financial freedom can overlook it.
The wonder of it is I took so long. I always felt I wasn't technically savvy. I took a 3-day Internet Marketing course last year for about S$1,500 and it was difficult to get support and follow-up.
When I look back at the last 10 years of my working life and where I'm at now, I just wish I was more clear-headed and intentional about being wealthy, rather than just following what everyone else does.
On a more positive note, I'm looking forward to the vibrant community here. I think that's crucial in keeping me on the 'straight and narrow' and being disciplined about internet marketing. I think encouragement is great and accountability is critical to ensure that I'm in-action.
Las Vegas does sound sinfully tantalizing as an incentive for doing well as an affiliate. With the emphasis on the 'sinful'. I mean, we have 2 casinos in Singapore but they're generally pretty touristy for me. My country's government, say what you like about caning and all, has really spoiled and protected us. We don't have 4 seasons. We just have 4 seasons of food here. And the music here's great. But I digress, yes, Las Vegas, sounds fun!
