First Rank in Google?

This is my first blog post. I'm a new member just joined in October 19. Like yourself, I'm overwhelmed with all the trainings and expectations on WA. But I'm excited and thought it would be fun to try everything out, most especially my creativity in building a website. I know there's a lot to take and me just starting out, it can be quite daunting to ever really be successful in this kind of business. But i'm not thinking too much about that. I just wanna learn and see how it goes. Success is never yet in my mind although at the back of my mind, I do intend to be successful too. There I went, without a second thought became premium member and started getting my own domain, and built my website from scratch. I didnt think much how my website will go, I asked the community if i get stuck, and i am grateful that everyone was willing to help. I listened to Kyle's input and took everything on board. In my mind, I remember that 'to be a great leader, you must be a good listener' And I did just that and keep on doing, and Im pretty sure Kyle and Carson are great listeners too, that's why they are successful.

There's so much I need to learn from doing my website and I think it evolves overtime, so i just built it whatever comes on mind. What do I know about SEO? Google rankings? keywords? Quality content? They didnt teach that in college. But as I go through tutorials, ideas come to my mind, I was in the flow, and the last time I checked my rank in Google. It was first! How did I ever do that? I had no bloody idea how that happened.

What I did know is I listened to those who knew and had been there. I listened to my instinct and never bothered who I am in competition with. Competition is a dangerous word, it can mean, that one is better than the other, and that other doesn't deserve to correct his mistakes. One thing I learned from all this is that 'Just do it!', be patient and take your mistakes as growth opportunity. There is never a mistake really if it doesn't make you a better person next time. That's all I can say really. I'm not used to writing blog post but I hope we can inspire each other. Love lots, ZEN.

Hi Zen,

I know how you feel. I have learned so much about Google, ranking pages, SEO, affiliate marketing and so on that wasn't taught at all in school. It was all new to me and took a lot of trial and error (because I learned most of this prior to WA).

But, as Thomas Edison, Alexander Bell and so many others did before us, they thought outside of the box. They weren't the "norm" and I'm sure were ridiculed for their beliefs. But, so be it. That's the risk that makes most six-figure earners different. I'm in profit here and not yet reached six figures, but I'm gaining ground on that daily.

While others watch the television or play online games, I am building my online empire. This is what sets us apart.

Stay motivated my friend!
Cheers,
pj
