Just wondering If I should use a feature image for each of my post

ok thanks for the replies. I might just have to change my theme. Whenever I set a featured image it looks ok until you click on the post, then the feature image is so big you cant tell that there is any content under it, it just shows a big giant picture until you scroll down.

I ran into that with my theme - does your theme allow you to specify the size of the pic?

no I finally just changed it now I like it and you can see the content below the image. thanks

I might have to use those too, Bryce! Thanks for asking this question!

Helps to add a visual element to your post. For some themes, you need it or it will look a bit “empty” on the home page.

While it depends, I've found it helps to add a little pop to your posts. Since most are video or image oriented the add effort helps to grab the vistors attention.

Yes, it's a good idea to use a featured image.

I personally choose an image then add other features to it in Canva.

canva.com

Then your audience will know exactly then what your post is about

I also make sure that my keyword or keyword phrase is in the image too.

Janet

Thanks for the advice I made an account for canva it looks pretty awesome

I saw another post that say you need to write 15 post a month and 100 per year seems like you would run out of post for one niche. Was wondering if your webite get ranked do yo

You don't "have to" add content after your site starts getting a good amount of traffic, since many times, a post will rank once and stay there for a very long time. Example: However, what tends to happen is that over time, competitors will outrank you if they update their content, get more engagement, and update their websites more often. Not always, but it happens a lot.

To stay relevant in your niche, it's always a good idea to be adding fresh content, updating old content, and in general, moving your business forward.

Also, if you stop adding content, you stop GAINING traffic. Sure, right now something like 1000 visits a day sounds amazing, and maybe you can earn some money from that...but what about 10,000 visits a day. Or 100,000 visits per day?

You won't be able to grow to that level if you just stop writing and get complacent.

Post relevant content.... I need learn from all of you
Post 15 per month, that's challenge. Especially my English is not good and article also... But I will face to face to give it try.
I like action taker !!! Even I am lack of knowledge....
Thank you 😊 for your good 💓 question.

As everyone says below , continual posting of relevant content on a regular basis will help build your site's authority in the yes of Google!

You need regularity and consistently to be ranked continuously because content on Google changes every second and new content is added as we ‘type’. @TommyJF provided some numbers for you.

If you don't consistently add high-quality content you will lose ranks. Studies have show people who post 11+ blogs per month see 3.5X more traffic than those that post 1-3 times

ok thank you so much!!

I like that 11 stat. Thanks for sharing.
