Have you ever had an idea of what to expect, and then be completely wrong but find something better? This is what happened to me here at Wealthy Affiliate.

Quick backstory: Unhappy with factory work, want to become a writer, enjoy writing. Came across WA and decided to go for it and try something new.

My wife and I really want to be debt-free. Which is why I created debtfreelifeforme.com as my initial website. I had high expectations for it as I do with lots of things that I do, however, God has his ways of humbling me. I want people to see the problems with being in debt but as you can imagine, talking about someone's spending habits is the same as trying a rabid opossum. It isn't pretty and someone is going to come out maimed.

I continue to make new articles with the site. Does it benefit anyone? I don't know for sure. So, I decided to take my ambition to write a step further.

Since I was young I had these thoughts, ideas, and funny stories that amuse me and make me think on deeper levels sometimes. So, I decided with much prompting from my wife to publish the material. Enter tallguyshortstories.com. I am enjoying the writing part of it. Once I started seeing visitors coming, I got excited. People are actually reading my stories and subscribing to the newsletter. Who would have thought?

My wife and I are strongly pursuing being debt-free within the next 2 years or less. That is our goal above everything else. We have a plan to buy a small cabin for less than $11,000 (which we will pay cash for), sell our present old and too-big-for-us house, and then be able to pursue the things that really matter to us.

I have pictures of the culvert being done. That is it. I will write about our planning and decision-making as that is a huge part in the tiny house movement.

When something is important to you, you will find a way to do it.
