Hello WA folks ,what is the ideal size of each photo to be uploaded in our blog post? Is it better be under 100kb or somethg? All that I know is big size photos will cause our

I am creating a little training on this because I struggled. I finally learned that the largest side of the image should be no larger than 540 pixels. Hope this helps you. :)

Eileen

Thanks justeileen for the help & really appreciate that.

You can use a plugin like "EWWW Image Optimizer" to optimize your images automatically.

Always make a backup before you install plugins, though.
And keep the images you use on your computer as an additional backup if something should go wrong.

This plugin works great for my website, but better safe than sorry.

Wow thanks MoritzS! I'll try that EWWW Image Optimizer plugin. Back then I just used photoshop to resize the photo LoL..a bit manual process.

Keep it below 100 kb. That will be good, It all depends on the contents of the photo and the dimension, you can upload more then 100kb but a few photos will be ok. Or else less than 100kb is preferable

Thanks gannet for the advice! Luckily I managed to keep most photos under 100kb and just a few that exceed which is around 140kb -150kb due to the big dimension :D

Hi anyone? Actually I'm still stuck on the Phase 1 lesson 6 "Task 2: Write Out Your Themed Pages".What is exactly the meaning of "Theme Content"? Can it be any content related t

Themed content is what ever is in line with your website. What is your website? Perhaps I can give you some better suggestions after knowing what your site is about.

Say you had a site on trains. Themed content would be types of trains, a little history, where trains go. Affiliate links could be to vacation plans offered by railways (if there is such a thing).

A theme is defined as a main idea or an underlying meaning of a literary work (webpage) that may be stated directly or indirectly.

Oh I see. Great! Now I figure it out. So we just need to think what will be the sub-topic that is related to our main theme right? Thanks Baxter! Btw this is my current in progress website toppassiveincome.com .Sorry it is still a little bit lack of content :D

I created 3 Pages with my main topix I wanted to talk about on my website and then I moved on to the next lesson. Its only to get you started to build some pages, that you go through the process of creation.

Pages should be filled with more static content, that lasts for a longer time. These are the places where you want your visitors to be attracted to through your dynamic content (posts within your different categories).

Thats how I see it.
Cheers, Kay ;o)

Oh okay.. now I get the idea. Meaning that static page is for long term & promotional purpose, meanwhile dynamic will be always updated with a new one right. That's really helpful and thanks Kay! :D
