It's been a while since I've blogged here in WA. That's because 2019 has been quite the eventful and exciting year for me and my family and it's kept me quite busy. My son got married a few months ago, we sold our house (finally), my daughter graduated from college, and my family has grown with new grandchildren! Wow! So many wonderful things! With all these events going on, the one thing I keep saying is we all are starting next chapters in our lives. MY NEXT CHAPTERThis now brings me to the

No, it's not Christmas....but it feels like it! I received the best surprise last night. A message from Kyle saying congratulations! Yes, I had made my first premium referral! What a great surprise! I LOVE surprises!I know after a while of being here, this is only my first referral. It may not seem big to anyone else, but for me, it's major because trying to convert from a niche site can be very difficult. I love my niche and it's my passion...it has been for several years and I will continue

I saw a very interesting social media post from someone I know. The post was basically saying people have a tendency to complain because of situations they find themselves in. However, their frustration is a result of doing the same things over and over again, but expecting different results.Do you know someone like that? Could that someone even be YOU? It takes a mature person to not only admit that fact, but to take action to do something about it. Sometimes it's necessary to assess where yo

Every time I hit a milestone with those who are following me, I have to take a moment to stop and say a huge thank you! Today, I hit 9,000 of you who have chosen to follow me. Thank you for being such an amazing community. I have received so much help, support, kind words and well wishes. My heart is truly touched and my words here can't express it enough. I have met so many amazing people on this journey and I am sure I will meet more. I saw something the other day that is very appropriate:Tha

2019 is going to be filled with so much excitement! My son's getting married, my daughter is graduating from college and we have our fifth grandchild on the way. All wonderful things! Several months ago, as I was talking with my husband, I referred to all these new things getting ready to happen in each person's life as being their next chapter. REVIEWING MY BUSINESSI started then looking at the next chapter for my business. As many of you know, I have a student program business and have built

In my previous blog "Looking Forward to 2019 and Beyond" (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/yvettec2/blog/looking-forwar... ), I stated "according to statistics, 95% of New Year's resolutions made have failed by January 15th?" Today is January 15 (in my part of the world.) So, today is the day, many people have abandoned their resolutions. That is the reason why I, personally, don't make resolutions - I set goals.THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RESOLUTIONS AND GOALSAccording to Melissa Brode, marketing pr

It's that time of year again. Yes, making new goals for the upcoming year and also sharing information with all of you. I've shared with you before that I don't make New Year resolutions. Instead, I make written goals.Did you know, according to statistics, 95% of New Year's resolutions made have failed by January 15th? That fail rate has risen considerably over the last year. That is why it is necessary for you to concentrate on having written goals - so you can be successful.STEPPING INTO 2019

I'm going to Vegas - but not because I made my WA referals. Unfortunately. I am going for some rest and relaxation - something we all need from time to time.YOU MUST TAKE CARE OF YOUOver the past few days, I have gotten messages about how overwhelmed and frustrated members are with the training and building their sites. We can all feel that way from time to time. Especially this time of the year with the holidays upon us, people can be extremely stressed. If you are stressed, overwhelmed, and fr
