Affiliate marketing is a real business. Real businesses have mission statements, a sort of vision into how they will operate and promises made to their potential customers and members. Below I am writing mine out, and will stick to this statement much as I have the last 15 years. An Affiliate Marketing Mission Statement is a vital part of making sure you treat this business as such and don't neglect putting in the effort required.

My Affiliate Marketing Mission Statement

Affiliate3percent.com will be a source of honest and up to date information. We will strive to provide timely reviews and on spot training in affiliate marketing and network marketing sponsorship.

Our business includes teaching general marketing skills such as search engine optimization and social media marketing for affiliates and non affiliate marketing businesses alike. As such we promise where possible to be muti channel focused and provide a great publication for all.

Our newsletter service will always be informative and not a license to Spam subscribers with offer after offer for things you don't need. Offers we do send will be fully vetted and be products we strongly reccomend and not based on launch mentality and unvetted.

We promise to deliver honesty in all we do. To share with you our pasion for affiliate marketing, and to over deliver value. We are Affiliate 3 Percent and this is our vision for excellence.

I have a mission statement for my website.

You want a plus size capsule wardrobe that is inexpensive, practical, versatile, and most of all, makes you look good, and that you LOVE wearing! And I'm here to help you get it!

I guess my mission statement for WA would be:

To create a blog that I love and am proud of, that will make me a secondary income as soon as possible. To follow exactly what the experts tell me will make me successful, but also think outside the box and do things that no one has ever done in a plus size fashion blog.

Any opinions on this? Great post, Yuma B!

Love it!

Great job, you need to set goals for yourself and a promise to your readers for delivery to make a great mission statement and you have done exactly that.

Thanks for the post. I checked your website. I really liked it.

Awesome, if you like it make sure to sign up for the newsletter I will be sending exclusive content there as well as post updates as new content is added.

Haven't got one, but your post prompts me to create a mission statement. Thanks for the reminder.

Be sure to share when you finish it I love seeing the direction and dedication of others.

Indeed very sound and appropriate. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for reading.

Hadn't thought of that. I'll need to work on one. Thanks Andy.

Come back and share, please. It is nice to look at blogging from different perspectives and the goals and promises that others give are often something you can add in later.

That is ideal Andy. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, if you create one come back and tell us about it.

Excellent Andy! I really like your statement! The more honest and aboveboard we are, the more people will accept Affiliate or Network Marketing. It's when you get people who tell you one thing and then they don't stand by what they told you in the first place, is what turns me off! When I came into WA, I felt invited, well respected and didn't feel like I was be cheated in the least!

WA is a cut above and a great supportive community. You can go well beyond the lessons of the Entrepreneur training and Affiliate Bootcamp with just about every topic covered at least once in marketing. I love WA.

Me too!😊

I never considered this...I thought the About Me or Landing Page sort-of covered this but you have put it in a whole different perspective; a rather positive business-oriented one.
I have to put my thinking cap on now!

I usually add the Mission Statement at some point on my About Us page, below my profile. I update it from time to time if I feel the words are not up to par with my content but the idea of the statement is the same. I focus on honesty, over delivered value, and a Spam-free newsletter chalk full of information

Valuable information...

Thank you

Helping others find peace within themselves, well obtaining financial peace for myself

Now that’s made me stop and think ... very true we do all need mission statements ....hopefully I shall be doing mine soon.
All the best to you for the future and thanks once again

Looking forward to reading your vision for your business. May 2019 be a stellar year for all of us at Wealthy Affiliate.
