As a premium member I understand I could create up to 25 siteRubix sites which come with the status.
But in erecting a first website I am faced with a choice between "site"

Essentially, you do not "own" a site that you build on your "free" domain - any SiteRubix site is a sub-domain of SiteRubix. When you purchase your OWN domain, it's yours to build on (and even to sell someday, if you so choose). For the very minimal charge of less than $15USD per year, it's well worth it to be able to say, "I own my domain, my ratings are mine, my business is mine"! It's like renting as compared to buying a house - ownership has its perks :)

This is very good comment. But can I have more than one website on a single domain.

You'll need to get your own domain name at some point. Having a site with its own domain name isn't really an 'unknown' .
