What are your DEFINITIVE "money" goals?

I have only joined WA recently. Starting at Course 1 I followed the step getting my account and profile ready. I find the section about your 'money' goal to be an excellent idea.

When I read what others put in their goals, I saw many put their money goals within their achievable range, which is around $1,000s to $20,000s.

I search on Google about setting goal and I was attracted to this website https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newHTE_90....

talking about SMART goals. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time bound. You may want to read the article.

In relation to the money goals, the website suggests to set goals that you possibly can achieve. This doesn't mean you set a goal that it is so achievable that there is no challenge at all. Let say if you set to $1000 per month, that is only around $30s per day. Most people would be able to achieve $30 per day.

Setting goals low can also show that you still like to stay within your comfort zone. We know to move forward, to expand, to be successful, people need to keep pushing outside their comfort zone.

I have been following Grant Cardone, he is an author, motivational speaker, real estate investor and a sales trainer. In his book The 10X Rules, he shows that when we set goals, set 10 times than we originally aim for. So if you aim at $1000 per month, put $10,000 as your goal.

Let's say you set $100,000 per year. Sounds high? It does look that way. How about if we look at a different angle. Start by asking, if I want to earn $100,000 per year, how much do I need to earn per week? $100,000/52 = $1,923.08/week. How about a day? $1,923.08/7 = $274.73/day.

If you look at this way, earning almost $275/day is achievable and we are not talking about working for an employer here.

I set my goals rather high because they have been the figures I want to achieve from 10 years ago. And I believe I need to set goals so high that it scares me. If I set my money goal at $1M/year and I end up with $850K/year, would I be upset that I can't reach my goal? NO WAY! I would be so ecstatic about it as that is waaaaaaaay more than if I only set my money goal at $1000.

Overall, this money goals literally is asking you, how serious you are about building the business.

I still at my starting journey, but I know I have found a place where I am surrounded by people with the similar goals whom I can ask what to do or not to do. It gives me a sense of security in developing the business.

Setting SMART goals and sticking to them with all your might is so important. I'd be a lot further than I am right now if I stuck with my original goals lol
