Im trying to figure out the best way to create a sales funnel. I would like to have all the pieces of the puzzle together (in my mine) before I purchase anything.

I have read that sales funnels are good and that they are bad, so I can't really comment on this subject until I dig deeper into it. But first you build traffic, then convert the traffic into potential customers so they spend money, and finally make sore the economics work and YOU make a profit.
