The only way is up
The first thing I would like to say about this post is it's not about pity but HOPE.
My thought is this when you hit rock bottom the only direction from there is up.
My story , (going to try to be brief but pardon me if I ramble some )
Life for me for the last few years has been really rough but my philosophy has always been "roll with the punches". And I have been getting punched more than I would like to admit.
The downhill spiral for me started about the beginning of 2017. I had a good paying job and lost it. I had my own house payed for but couldn't pay the taxes, lost it. My car got repossessed so lost it as well. Had to move and ugh start paying rent. I was not allowed to have dogs so I had to give them up ....etc.... you get the picture I'm sure and I'm sure many of you have been there.
Eventually found work for about half what I was making before and got a car for cash outright but struggled to keep things payed up by robbing Peter to pay Paul ( and I don't mean me ;)) .
That works for a little while but does eventually catch up. Rent gets late and water and power get turned off etc... Now what do you have oil lamps and flashlights and charging everything possible by car charger . That works till car battery has to be replaced .
Now still working but grasping for any amount of extra income to help you start doing stupid surveys etc... And the astronomical amount of spam calls etc...
Then one day you happen upon an article by chance that leads you here to Wealty Affiliate. A place with some very wonderful and awesome people who show you that you still can reach your dreams and that all is not lost but also because you yourself know this is your way out of the pit and up so you don't hesitate becauseYou have a really good incentive to not give up and to see it through. You tired of what it's been like and want much better. You want to live not just exist.
Sometimes the only way out is through but the only Direction is up.
Thank you Everyone here at Wealthy Affiliate for showing me I have potential and continually giving me the tools I need to succeed. Thank You all for all the words of encouragement too. You have no idea what that means to me and helps me keep going.
SO as I end this ramble of mine I will say as I start climbing up and out of my pit , I really am I looking forward to the Future now not dreading it .

Way to go, Paul, the only battle we have to win is that one we wage with ourselves.
It can be hard watching that surreal version of life when the corner is turned there can not be a lot to stop that upward curve.
