How to add your Domain to WA or can I add my domain here at WA.
Wealthy Affiliate has been the best Community I have ever joined and YES it has the feature to add your Domain and here is your Step-by-step guide for doing so.
Step # 1. Go to your Domain manager.
Here is an illustration of my Domain from Godaddy.com which I have added to the WA (wealthy affilate community). You don't have to worry if your domain is registered in different site because all the domain hosting sites have the same setting imprint for the domain manager.
What I did was, I went to my Domain manager and then to my DNS Management setting. ( *some parts are blurred because privacy of my DNS is important)
After doing that, I scrolled down to "NAMESERVERS" under DNS management settings to click on the "CHANGE" button as illustrated below.
After clicking on the "CHANGE" button, I changed my nameserver type to CUSTOM and edited my nameserver as ns1.mywahosting.com and ns2.mywahosting.com.Then saved my settings that I have changed.
Summary.
1. Domain manager > DNS MANAGEMENT.
2. DNS management > scroll to Nameserver.
3. Nameserver > change default to CUSTOM.
4. Edit nameserver > ns1.mywahosting.com & ns2.mywahosting.com > save.
Step # 2. Now go to your WA site Domain.

2. Add your Domain.

Need Help - Two Questions:
1) I just transferred two of my GoDaddy Domains to WA - The first one went through but it says the hosting is off - how do I change that to be on?
2) The second domain says the transfer is cancelled because the Domain is not registered - is there a way to Register it here at WA so that it will transfer in like the other one did?
Hi, Kevin, are your domain names also hosted at GoDaddy? If so, by changing your DNS to mywahosting.com you are changing to hosting that doesn't exist, your host should be WA.
Not sure about domain name not being registered. If you bought and paid for the DN through GoDaddy, as registrars the DN should be registered with them and shouldn't interfere with transferring DNS.
To register it with WA you need to go to your GoDaddy account and follow the instruction for tranferring your DN. You may also need an authorization code from WA. Site support may help you with this. There also may be a charge for registering with WA. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
Yes Harry - I transferred them with the Authorization Code and all - but the first one transferred successfully but show WA Hosting is "Off"....
The second one says it was ready to transfer from GoDaddy also but was cancelled due to the Domain Name not being registered. Could it be I bought the domain name through GoDaddy but it never went through the Name Registration like the "Who-Is" deal... maybe - I'll have to dig into that one...
But the WA Hosting being shown as "off" has thrown me....
We'll see what I learn later today - it's 2:30am here - I just woke up for some reason and saw your reply on the screen as I walked through my office - - -
