Good, bad and the Ugliness

There are both good and evil forces that walk amongst us and we must decipher which ones are to be dealt with and others we must tolerate. It saddens me to say this but yes there are these forces and many of them do not have our best intentions in mind. Recognizing a good deal from a shady deal can bring some challenges especially when it comes time to get some work done at your home.

For instance, there are things that break down in a home that need to be repaired and to fix them, sometimes we are at the disposal of the technician or business that comes around to offer a solution.

Fortunately, some can recognize a good deal from a shady one and through experience some of these lessons are learned and thus dealt with in the matter that best fits the occasion. The main point I am trying to expand upon is how people can take advantage of the elderly and what they are exposed to due to whatever device that they are left to manage their lives with.

It comes with great sadness that even those highly educated get to the point where they deliberately overcharge, take advantage, and get away with gouging the prices they inflict upon the elderly of our communities.

My words for today, "Watch out for good deals, they may not be what they seem." What we do must be held to the highest possible standards that we can. If not, it becomes something vile and ugly, ugly enough to turn anyone from favor. I hope that no one has gone through this and will not experience what has just transpired before me.

Please take careful steps when repairing your homes, there are shady people out there and it isn't a good feeling to be abused nor taken advantage of due to your age.
