Hi Xavier Slovenia and Croatia and the Balkan coastline are pretty and interesting, including Montenegro, Best Alan

Sounds like nice places to visit. I have heard of Montenegro, but never thought of the Balkan coastline. Beaches are always nice, no matter where in the world they are. Thank you Alan, have a great weekend.

Maybe someday. Sooner than later I hope and dream.

That is great to look forward to, Xavier. Well, down here in South Africa we are approaching Autumn with Winter coming in June when you will be frolicking in the lap of summer! I got to admit, the winters are not as severe here, with snow falling only every 30 years or so.

Who knows, in the near future I might be spending only the summers on the two countries: South Africa, September to April and USA, May to August. Now, that’s a dream to work very hard towards!

Thanks for posting.

Awesomeness!
Mojalefa.

In our part of the world Texas, the weather still has not made up it's mind that winter is over. Rains, snow, floods, yes sir we got them here too. Hope your winter goes well for you. Thanks for visiting.

best,
Xav.

Mojalefa,
It does seem odd that you are in start of Winter in June...I imagine this is when vegetation lies dormant. Is this when also unpredictable weather is most common?

I smile to think of you chasing Summer...halfway around the globe.
Well, I hope that these are the endeavors that will make that happen for you...Onward And Upward

Kind regards, David

Headed to Nassau in 3 weeks :)

Excellent, have lots of fun.

Xavier, I enjoy your thought as I am one to always look for a travel opportunity...Some of the places I most enjoy are in the carribean

What I most enjoy in travel is local culture and learning from the people who live and work each day. There is something about staying in a location for more than 2 weeks that gives a completely different perspective to my idea of travel...like wearing
a favorite sweater You just settle in and feel right about being in it.

Thanks for taking your time to share your thoughts

To friendship,kind regards

David

Yes sir, fits just right. I know what you mean. There are no two places alike. Ever since we traveled when we were younger, there was always that feeling you get when you know where your headed for is brand new and full of wonder and amazement. So very true. Your welcome and Cheers to you!

My favorite places are any of the National Parks. Zion and The Arches in Utah are beautiful and 2 of my favorites, Amazing geography...fun hikes.
Debbie

Absolutely agree, these are in my top 5 likes in the world...About the time you think that you have really seen beauty;color; ruggedness,
you turn your head and there you see something astounding again...I am glad you have mentioned these spots because I smile in thinking of them. Thank you

Have not been there but it does sound very peaceful. Santa Fe New Mexico is very nice with lots of History.

My family loves to go to a water park in Texas called Slitterbaghns I may not have spelled that right and sorry. But any way we have been a few times going again this summer. It is a great place.

The one that I am familiar with is the one on South Padre Island Texas. Very cool swimming both beach and water park.

Thanks

This one is in New Braunsfield I think is how it is spelled. Yes they are amazing and a whole bunch of fun

Houston and Dallas Texas

Tried and true

Elaine

Just came through Houston. Huge city and lot to do there. Some of the many places we have gone on vacation were during different times of the year. Las Vegas was ok, but I am not a gambler, whereas the balloon festival in Albuquerque was really great. Anyways, thank you for your comments.

Albuquerque, though a really difficult city to spell is nearby some of my favorite places to visit...The pueblo in Sky City, my friend Joe who Is a jeweler lives there. And North of Santa Fe to Taos,NM the road along the Rio Grande (Yes Rio Grande begins in the mountains near Taos) is inviting and remarkable.

Love your idea of attending the Ballon festival, too Xavier,

Hi Xavier I live about 10 minutes from Niagara falls and have been there many times. Last year I visited the Ukraine it was the first time I traveled outside the USA. I have met a wonderful lady from Texas and she was born in Italy and has family there. We plan to get married very shortly and are planning a honeymoon in Rome.

Wow that is great news and Niagara Falls, I once new someone that lived near Honeoye Lake. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage as well. Thank you for commenting, and best wishes .

Wow great story here... Congratulations to you both and I wish you the most exciting adventure and blessing. Really enjoy reading comments that inspire warm thoughts. Best to you,sir and I will choose you to follow.

Respectfully David

That’s tricky one because we all like different things. I’ve been on holiday for 5 years now so holidays are a little boring.

Excellent suggestions you offer. I have soft spots for:

Jamaica
Mauritius
Sri Lanka

All very different though.

Wayne

Sounds like some very memorable places. Disney was great when my kids were younger and Chicago are some of my favorite places as well. Not to mention the Albuquerque Balloon Festival that brings in balloons from many parts of the world every October. Awesome spectacle to exp[experience. Thank you for your thoughts,
