First online Amazon Afiliate business - Deciding on which Azon product to use.

Blogger alert - This is for us newbies trying to find our way in the dark. I will let you know that this may not be the best overall way to do a niche focused Amazon Affiliate site, but if you are new to the WordPress world like me and want a niche site created reasonable fast, this may be your cup of tea. Please also note I am not an affiliate for the products, just attempting to get my first Amazon store off the ground.
Ok, it is now the end of my first week at WA and I have yet to publish my first website. I have spent the week reviewing the educational videos and doing keyword searches in an attempt to find the right keywords set, Domain name and flow of traffic for an Amazon Affiliate store which will sell jewelry. The key challenge for me today has been in finding the best Azon tool to do the heavy link connections to Amazon which is workable here on WA's hosting area. After asking several questions regarding this product niche, I did not feel I gained enough feedback to help me make the needed decision. This blog post is a way for me to think my way through the decision process and perhaps aid other facing a similar decision.
The Azon tool search started with Azon Authority, a wife favorite, but this plugin had to be returned due to lack of product support here at WA. After reaching out to the WA community, the EasyAzon4 and Ultimate Azon Theme where suggested. I must admit that both received similar votes so I have spent the last several hours trying to determine whether I want to use a theme based or plugin based tool. Being a new user of Wordpress this has been a struggle.
EasyAzon4 prices out at $37 or $39 dollars for the unlimited version. I have heard there is an EasyAzon4 Pro version and I am trying to discover more on it.
Ultimate Azon Theme prices out at $47 dollars.

My Thoughts after research:
Both of these products were created with new users, like myself, in mind. These tools are geared toward specific target or micro focus Amazon Affiliate sites. Think of an affiliate site just for girls jewelry or clothing for toddlers.
On EasyAzon 4 I had a concern with providing the Amazon ID support in order for the plugin to work. I liked:
- The ability to look up products and place the 4 types of links directly into post for better specific topics.
- 90 day cookie options
- Good look up direct with amazon links
- Provides Amazon Link Localization
- provides ways of handling default links.
- Provides link cloaking
- Product popups
- Can use product to place text links, image links, CTA links and info Blocks within you posts.
- allows use of different Amazon Tracking codes.
- Provides hover over links direct back to Amazon
- I like the access to Amazon's photo library which will allow you to embed photos directly into your reviews. Once the reader hovers over the photo amazon's order info directly pops up.
- Product is very good for blogger support by allowing a laser focused photo with link to your amazon affiliate account placed directly into your blog. I like this because when you use Amazon product stock photos, no licensing or copywriter issues.
- The software also provides a zoom photo option for better looking at products.
On Ultimate Azon, the product seems more geared toward the look a feel of the product which of course is what a theme does.
- I liked the ability to do tables and comparisons
- I liked the packaging of the products with reviews and purchase links
- I liked the overall tie in to the thee's look and feel.
- I liked the open format which could allow additional language support is used with an associated language plug-in
- 90 day cookie options.
- I liked where the links could be 'Key word' targeted in the link metadata.
- I liked how the comparison tables allowed you to add fields for comparison.
- Is geared for one main product like Drills or Dog food, but provides setup for secondary products like brushes or drill bits to be added.
- A pain point could be when in the future you want to changes the link name. This could cause breakage to the original permalinks directed to Amazon during the original setup..
- Provides Amazon Localization
- This software is better geared for the specifically focused niche store front using amazon products. Think of a handyman tool shop or a high end TV review site where comparisons are needed.
Conclusions:
If you are a creating a reviewer blogger who posts frequently, the EasyAZON4 might provide you with the best uses because of its ability to place that link or place the photo directly into the text as part of the article. While many say why not just dig up the link on Amazon, I must suggest the ease of look up is great and ability to encode keywords into the product link might prove helpful. BiggerPockets uses the EasyAzon4 product to sell their Amazon hosted eBooks and I must say I use the site allot and am a little swayed by this. Like the owners of BiggerPockets, I too am looking to create eBooks as an income streams, so this weighs heavily in the back of my mind.
If you are launching a Micro niche site and wanted the look and feel of a set store to be great through out, then the Ultimate Azon Theme would be a much better fit for you. The ability to perform comparisons and slider views out of the book is great when selling several similar products like TV, power tools and the like.
The dynamic duo possibilities exist where you use the theme for the store and then the EasyAzon4 specifically for your site's product reviews and blog posts.
There it is, for better or worse. I am still on the fence, but now I think I have a better understand of where to use the products. Now I just need to review the business model of the site and purchase accordingly.
