The Bright Sides of COVID- 19
The Bright Sides of COVID- 19
When the whole world is closed, most business shutdown and the quarantine continues until who knows when. How would you like to spend your days during this uncertain time? Here are the 7 bright sides of COVID-19 quarantine that would keep you busy with so much time that you have now.
1. Spend More Time with Your Family
Do you remember when the last time you had ice cream with your kids was? When was the last time you played board games with your family members? When you are busy at work, it is easy to forget about simple activities that you enjoy with your family. Well, this is a good opportunity to catch up with them. Cook together, teach your kids online schoolwork, watch Netflix together and build a life-long memory for each other during this bonding time.
2. Do More Work at Home
In this case, I don’t mean working to generate income. Instead, working on something that you always plan to do but have never had a chance to get it done yet. Since you have plenty of time to burn now, go for it. Finish the project that you put on hold years ago, clean up the cluster and organize your house, get rid of what you are hoarding for the longest time, just to name a few. You will be surprised how you could turn “stress time” into “productive time” and achieve many tasks that you could think of.
3. Take Good Care of Yourself
If you feel out of shape, lack of sleep or need more gym time, this is a great time to practice activities to fix the problems. If you want to read more books, binge watching movies, please do and feel free to enjoy yourself now. It is also an appropriate time to practice coping mechanisms to help calm yourself down and relax. They are not only good for current situations but also useful tools that you can have in your toolbox if needed in the future. You may try to practice deep breathing, count one to ten (and repeat if necessary), or write a journal. Better yet? Meditation, anyone?
4. Learning New Skills
For those of you who lost a job, this is a good time to learn new skills. Who knows you might be able to create a real business that generates your income for the years to come. If you are a person who is always busy and can't focus on learning new things like me, this is a good time to stay focused and dive into a new gig without worrying about time restriction. If you want to be a good entrepreneur, learn more, practice new skills, and take massive action. Let’s just start from WA training first, shall we?
5. Practice Gratification
This hard time allows you to look inside of yourself and at people around you. Thank God every day when you open your eyes and realize that you can breathe comfortably another day. Be grateful for your health, your life, your friends, and family. When you feel truthfully thankful for every small little thing that you encounter on a daily basis, you tend to be a happier person and later you will spread your positive energy to those people around you as well.
6. Practice Your Duty at Best
For those of you who chose to work in the public safety workforce, we can’t thank you enough. I chose to be a nurse and I think this is time to put my nursing knowledge in good use even more. When the outbreak strikes, doctors, nurses, and healthcare professions are the front line of defense. We work hard and we are proud of what we do to ensure everyone's safety. You too can do your best because at the end of the day, we all contribute our parts to the community as a whole.
7. United We Stand
When the world is in crisis, it reveals how people really are. You don’t want to be a redneck person who creates more panic to worsen the situation. Remember, WE ARE IN THESE TOGETHER. This is not the first crisis that we face and might not be the last. But, this too shall pass. Reach out to your families and friends to check on them. Show them love and support if you haven’t done so yet. Reach out and offer help to your community. The tough time could be tougher if you are alone. But if we have each other's back and fight it together, we would win it easier. Remember this, “United We Stand, Divided We Fall”.

Definitely! As a nurse and affiliate marketer, I need to be positive at all times. 😁
