Reviews and your take on creating the right ones

OK, we all know the more we write (as in posts and reviews) the more traffic we will get or thats the theory behind it anyway.

We are after grabbing that little bit of traffic that resides against a keyword, right?

So you'd agree that keyword research is tops when it comes to getting our posts in front of the masses searching for anything and everything, right?

In the "make money online" niche we are taught to create reviews on products, which is fine, but are you selecting the right products to review?

I see many churning out reviews on anything and everything and in a lot of cases there is very little traffic (if any at all), and I look at the product and in a lot of cases say "what is that, never heard of"

The point I'm trying to make is that a very large % of these products are not ever-green, here today and gone tomorrow.

Are you creating reviews on products that nobody is going to purchase or would not be interested in?

It's all very well banging out a review every day but you could be wasting your time!

The more you put out the more that will fall off the back end, that is for sure!

1 step forward 3 back!

I know this is going to happen hence you must write consistently because things are dropping off the backend and you need to replace with fresh traffic.

OK, someone has found your site and read 1 of your reviews, now they (you hope) are going stay there and troll your site and check out other reviews (providing the reading experience is a good one).

They find something that could interest them and they decide to check out the product elsewhere because you don't have a link to the product and because you don't have a published date on the review.

Lost them, but you will as soon as they have a reason to!

But, that is inevitable anyway in this niche, just be more selective, that's all.

I want to know that the review/post is current and dates are very important.

The amount of times I have been on youtube and watched with intent only to find the product is no longer valid I lost count, in the past that is.

Ever-green every time, but it will take longer.

Feedback would be much appreciated!

Have a nice day.

Mick

Hi Mick I totally agree with you, that's why I don't like reviews. I have done only three: WA, Jaaxy and MOBE.

But I guess I have to do more. Do you have any suggestions for evergreen reviews?

Thanks
Nick

Hey Nick, unfortunately, reviews are our bread and butter but we need to be selective and not just select from a list from top to bottom. Just my opinion
