Hard work and no evidence

I was excited to make my site public. I had 2 post and 1 blog. Not a lot, but it was something to show for my hard work. Then just like that as I was going through my continuous training I managed to delete one of my post. So upsetting!

I still don't know how to get it back. Think it is lost for good. I wanted to cry, but self pity doesn't get anyone anywhere. So I pick my head up and continue with my site. I will consider it a love - lost relationship with my deleted post. This is my chance to make it better, slow down, and remember this is a marathon not a race.

Money is no longer my drive (well maybe a little) but getting ranked in Google sure is exciting. Learning what SEO, Keywords, Longtails, Low fruit keywords all means is exciting. For me it is a whole new world. No one sees the hard work that we all go through just to put up a website. How many hours are invested and typing till our fingers bleed. (haha not really, but lots of typing)

Don't make the same mistake as me and s-l-o-w down!!!!!

Have a productive day!

I thought I commented on this the other day but obviously I must have not pushed the button to add the comment. Same thing as you said-- slow down.
I'm so happy to see you hang in there. Sounds like you are doing great. Keep it up.

Sorry to hear you lost one of your posts.I did something similar however I found it in the trash and was able to retrieve it.just check your trash hope you find it there.

Way to stay positive! I have had this happen too. You will get past it : )

Did you look in the trash under posts?

Make sure that you are backing up content FREQUENTLY!

Theresaw90 I'm still learning. Can you tell how to look in the trash under the post. It's as if the post never existed and I did not hit the trash button.

Also, do you mind giving me the link or tell me how to back things up?
I do appreciate any help you can give. Having a rough time with my site right now. There are other issues going on as well.

Hi,

I think Theresa her answer will be your solution...

You go to "Trash" see print screen I attached in your posts page in Wordpress (If the trash option is not available, then there is nothing in the trash can and the post will be deleted then) and click on it...

Then select the post - go to bulk actions - click on the little arrow that goes down - in the menu that appears select restore...

Hopefully this works and then your post will be back.

Otherwise, you have 1 option: create a ticket at support Rubix: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support and you can ask them if they can find the deleted post somewhere in their backups or maybe still in their SQL database, but with a broken link to your site...
(I am aware that everything after "you can ask them if" maybe sounds like Chinese to you, but just copy paste this in your request, it will challenge them to check all possibilities... )

Grtz,
Bert

@Ignorant thank you!!!!! I was able to get it back. What a great way to start the day. thanks again

I'm glad that you've found your lost posts!
Just so you have it handy here's the link to back up your website

That's the spirit ma'am! Keep On Keeping On!
