Are We Lazy?

I published my first Linkedin post! Here it is.

I hear it often in conversations how some people are envious of those with a better car or a house on a lake or 3 vacations a year. Little do they realize that those people with the better care, house on the lake or taking vacations work hard.

As the sane goes "If it is were easy then everyone would be doing it."

People expect for good fortune to just fall in their lap now a days. It really amazes me how people will complain about their misfortunes, but do nothing to change it. In order to change your misfortunes you must change your habits. To change your habits you have to step out of your comfort zone. Work hard for what you want. No one is going to do it for you.

Over the past couple of months I have been spending my spare time creating websites. Learning everything I can about SEO, longtails, low hanging fruit keywords, and other terms that I had no clue what they were until recently. We are in control of our own lives. Make the best of it and invent yourself.

  • Turn off the TV and find something your are passionate about. Turn that into revenue
  • Push Forward - Find the drive and never give up
  • Read Inspirational books - It's Your Hour by Brian Rashid. What Color is Your Parachute by Dick Bolles are a couple worth mentioning
  • Be Scared - Understand all new adventures are, and it is okay
  • Be Resourceful - Once you break out of your shell this becomes easier
  • Love a Challenge - Understand that it will break down walls
  • Welcome Failure - You learn from failures and turn them into success

I was not one to be jealous of others good fortune, but jealous that they knew the resources. I was also scared to work outside the box, scared of what else is out there, scared of entrepreneur success. There has been something nagging at my heart for a long time and I have been ignoring it. This year I knew I had to listen to my heart; the drive to succeed. I am breaking down barriers and excited for the future. Sure my websites are not the greatest right now, but there is no stopping me. The drive is on.

I wish everyone much success!

Hi Paul, great website and I'll bookmark it as I'll show my husband. Very interesting. I welcome you to look at my sites and give feedback. I don't feel they are as good as yours but always work in progress.

Hi there just looked at your sites and right from the start you need to use a different theme - then you need color as it is flat and needs to be lifted up - next you need to change the pic of mom and daughter as you should never put a pic of the back side of people as that is energy going away to need happy smiling faces and also you need pics in the content as you see I have done in my site and every day I improve it!!!!
But ideas are good and keeping it simple is good and you will get there so let me know ok

Thank you Paul I will work on these. I do appreciate your comments.

Ah yes, the age-old feeling of entitlement. We're not entitled to successful businesses that accomplish our monetary goals, you hit that nail on the head there.

Keep tapping into those resources, I hope others do as well.
