I have noticed that the Americans are required to have affiliate disclaimers on their articles that include links. Do we need the same thing in Canada?

Angela I am in Canada and I disclaim affiliate links simply because I feel it's the right thing to do.
No idea if it's actually required by law.

Where would I go to find the disclaimer and I would I set it up like the privacy policy page?

Just write your own simple disclaimer. In the States, you have to disclose affiliate links in the article before you use them. Many bloggers do this discreetly by making the print very small in between two paragraphs and simply state 'this site uses affiliate links'. Others are very in-your-face about it and just state it at the beginning of every article. Some statements are more detailed and others link to a full disclosure about affiliate links and ads.
Hope this helped.

p.s. some affiliate companies like shareasale will look at your posts and check for the affiliate disclosure. They say they will not approve you as an affiliate if you don't use them.

I've also added a disclaimer on the very top of my "tools" page and my commissions actually increased ;)

Thats awesome!

Thanks, Alex. You have totally answered my question. Appreciate your time.
