Hello! It's been months since I was here. I'd like to start the training again from the beginning. How can I do this? I can't remember where anything is! :D

It's all ok ... 🌈 ... Rainbow! ...

Good question and all questions are good ones here ...

Glad to see that the awesome WA community of members have jumped in to assist with your query ...

A lot of us have done the rinse, repeat, rinse cycle again and again ... lol ....

Enjoy your step by step training to Success, cheerio .... ⭐️😊⭐️ ...

Welcome back. Here are a couple of links to help you get back into all of it.

Laura

oops just saw that you got it worked out.

Thank you! Useful link for others to find too πŸ˜ŠπŸ’›πŸŒˆ

The best part is that you can access any part of the training at any time, incase you need to refresh, review or restart. I'm always going back to on a regular basis to revisit a topic.

Thanks for the question - other's here may have had the same question about training.

Isaiah 😊

Thank you! Yes, good point πŸ˜ŠπŸ’›πŸŒˆ

That's ok no need to delete your question. I'm glad that you were able to figure things out. I too have recently started over in my training. I only completed the first two lesson programs and was in the third when I left for health reasons. I am back and am ready to really learn, this time. Don't be afraid to ask questions. There are so many willing members here who will help you.

Take care
Charlotte

Thank you! You take care of you too πŸ˜ŠπŸ’›πŸŒˆ

Its fairly easy. Just click on training, left side of screen, and then click on which ever lesson you would like to review. I'm constantly going back for review myself.

Greg

Thank you! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’›πŸŒˆ

I've written a blog that basically consists of 20 helpful/inspiring quotations by fellow WA members. I haven't posted it yet, because I read somewhere something about google no

You can quote them.

Doesn't seem to be that simple. Gonna leave it.

I think it is okey provided that you have it with quotation marks, it is in support of what you want to prove, and it does not occupy the big part of your blog.

Wasn't trying to prove anything - just wanted to share the inspiration! Never mind. Gonna leave it and move on.

You can copy all my stuff if you want Woodsie. ;)

(Not sure you’d want it though. LOL)

Haha! Thanks Jeff! Gonna leave it for now though. No time to ask everyone's permission and find out exactly where each quotation was from.

Quoting and siting sources is ok. If you copy word for word and do not credit the author, that's a problem.

I would always credit the author! 😊 Can't remember exactly where I found each quotation though and don't have time to retrace my steps - have to leave it, sadly.

Woodsie

understood!

In my opinion, it's completely fine.

That being said, I've noticed that some people don't like it for some reason and they'd want that you'd ask them before sharing their names and things. Personally, I don't understand that if they have publicly shared the content already but I've just noticed that some people are like that.

Hi Roope!

No worries, I've decided not to now. Just have to write something inspiring myself!

Woodsie
🌈

Alright.

Anyways, feel free to share any of my posts/quotes/videos if you want. :)

- Roope

Thanks Roope! Appreciate it.

You can quote people as long as it's labeled clearly as a quote. Duplicate content is more about entire passages or pages copied than just a quote. That said, if it were me, I would ask permission to quote people, tho. I don't think anyone would mind it, but it is just proper etiquette to ask permission. :)

You are talking about actually quoting people, not copying their words right? Because quotes are okay, copying other people's blogs, not okay. I assumed you meant like people often post inspiring quotes from famous people, but you're doing it for WA members instead of celebrities. Am I mistaken?

That's exactly right - was going to present inspiring quotations from WA members and include their names. Just because I love a lot of the helpful and encouraging stuff people write here and wanted to share some it on my blog.
I don't have time to ask 20 people's permission though. Was just something I was gonna do if I could do it quickly.

Hi, if you're talking about content that other members have put on their Wealthy Affiliate blog posts here, then why not just write your article referring to that content in your own words and include your own affiliate link to their posts.

Woodsie .. instead of copying the comments, put it in your own words with a link to the post you are referring to ... for example, (I will use my own posts simply because they are mine , LOL)
"Many entrepreneurs find the use of Positive Affirmations" to be helpful ... this post by Allan Curtis, discusses the benefits and provides examples to help set a positive mindset This allows you to mention the topic, express your opinion about the benefits of the topic, and provide a link to the original content ...
Allan

Hi Allan!

Thank you for your suggestion - that sounds like a good way of doing it. Was thinking of writing about affirmations actually! Have to give it some more thought.

Hi - no, you shouldn't use copied and pasted material.

As regards blogging here at WA, the guidelines state "Don't copy and paste content from elsewhere. Copying content from other sources, even if it is your own, isn't of benefit to the community."

On your own website, everything should be original and in your own words.

Hokey cokey! Thanks Diane.

Do I go to the site feedback section and do it in the normal way? I want to offer help with spellings, grammar and the best ways of saying things. I do not wish to offer feedba

Hi - when a member asks for feedback, they ask for either general feedback, or use of images and media, or site layout, or site content.

I guess the best option for you would be when they ask for feedback on their content. You may have to wait for this request to appear, as people typically ask for general feedback.

You could also look through this thread to see what people are asking for.

Ah great! Thanks Diane - will do. 😊

I'd like to offer a specific kind of help for people's websites - how do I do it?
