A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step
WA is a great journey especially when you are new to the world of affiliate or internet marketing. At the beginning of your journey, you are busting with enthusiasm! You have fire in your belly! You cannot wait to start this incredible new adventure. What is it? It appears mysterious with so many elements to it and yet it has a certain openness to it. It’s affable, it’s welcoming. Oh, there is a whole community behind it. They are very gracious and welcoming too!
Now let’s get to the nitty gritty, after all we signed up for a business right? You start to peel away the layers and explore. What is this I have stumbled upon? You may ask. It’s like an unexplored cave, a Pandora’s box of wonderful unknown’s and endless possibilities, a maze in a summer harvest of rows and rows of fresh yellow corn … You may have to navigate your way with caution lest you get lost in the labyrinth.
I have been inspired by so many great posts by members in the WA family who have reached out – a few posts that have left an impression and that come to mind (This list is by no means exhaustive. There are just too many to mention here)
James (Maxiam59) - https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/maxiam59/blog/the-yoyo-affect
David (David – Salt) - https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/david-salt/blog/discouraged-crawl-if-you-must-but-keep-moving
David Knight (davyrobot) – I love the way he always ends his post with the quote “Rome wasn’t build in a day …” https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/davyrobot/blog/my-posts-to-point-you-in-the-right-direction
Thanks everybody who has reached out.
Like one of my favorite philosophers Lao Tzu says “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” Tao Te Ching.
Do not be overwhelmed. Keep your eye on the ball. Take one step a time. Be it five emails a day – if you don’t feel up to the training. It’s amazing how much information and inspiration comes from member emails. There is always a gem hidden in there somewhere.

Well said. I like the analogy of the "unexplored cave" - and there are so many cavities and crevices do go into, it's easy to forget where you started and how to get back there, lol.
But it's all good, and yes, there are plenty of awesome cave dwellers here who help keep you on course.
True. Sometimes it's good to allow yourself to get lost (if I can put it that way) - as many of us have ;), that way you are always in wonderment as to what the next crevice might uncover. And yes, those fantastic seasoned cave dwellers are always there to guide you back home.
