Beauty and Sparks
In starting this journey there are so many things to learn. Even as this is true, I bring with me the thing of value that I've learned from each time I tried to get a business up off the ground only to have it crash. The question that goes through the mind after so many times is 'how long do I keep trying before I just let that dream go?' This is important to talk about because there is something about having dream and trying and failing to make that dream come true that begins to set us apart.
And it can make us crazy at times. It's like having an itch that you can't quite scratch.
It's common ground that many people know. And lots of people have failure one too many times and so they let the dream go. They go back to the grind of working for someone else and feel this deep grief of loss.
I think this makes the dream sad too. The dream wants you as much as you want the dream. It's meant to be a partnership and i don't know how many people really think about it as a partnership. i could be wrong, but when you listen to people talk about their dreams it seems so one sided, chasing the dream, going after the dream, following the dream. I tend to think of it now as the dream chasing me, following me, (its following me because it's always on my mind) and the dream going for me....it's a way to take those failures and turn them into sparks...yes, sparks to use to ignite new fires that make the dream want to pull you and draw you and be in partnership with you.
In my decision to join Wealthy Affiliate I've given some power to my dreams. I have more than one dream, seems my dream had babies along the road because there is more than one.
The first one, working for myself is the one that this journey is now about empowering to be my partner. That means that my view of this dream takes on new shades. I treat it like I would a person who I respect. I've learned as I said to see it wanting me as much as I want it. It's the spark that likes me. My dreams like me other wise they would have gone away a long time ago, they wouldn't keep hanging out with me and urging me to keep trying, to keep going, to not stop.
In changing my perspective of my relationship with my dreams it's opened up ideas and possibilities that I hadn't considered before changing my perspective on this. I know now that my dream wants to succeed because it wants to manifest and become tangible.
So here's to the sparks and the dreams that bring them, it wants you to succeed...so it's chasing you and helping you so that it can become more than just a dream.
