Spambots on subscriber lists .... am I getting woolly headed .. ?

Seems like spammers and spambots are a bit like counting sheep - they just keep on coming !
Just had a couple of sites we'd not paid much attention to went to add subscribers to Aweber - ran some of the subscribers through a couple of spam/stop forum spam sites like: http://www.stopforumspam.com/search etc, and and discovered there are a stack of spam ones on my list :(
Anyone know a good way to get stop spambot subscribers jumping on so I don't need to spend ages checking them ? Thought I'd added all the checks and "captchas and other anti spam devices" but those pesky spammers keep on using up my time ... :(((((
Thought I had it made for a mo there !! I mean my list was pretty ginormous !!!
