Authoring & Writing Content

Hi,

I've written 4 articles so far on my website, but lately I feel frustrated with producing more content. I feel kinda stuck! I found this key word that pass the test

Ok. its normal to get demotivated sometime. Maybe you found something that promises to be more interesting than content. But my advise is that, there are things you may want to do and there are things you need to do . Need to do will bring discomfort and satisfaction once achieved but may want to do will not bring you that much satisfaction. Find out if you need to do it or you may want to do it.

I did yoga, took some time off and get a restful night. I’m ready to be back at it!

Thank you for taking the time to write these for me

Ask yourself why you lost your motivation. Think about what motivated you in the first place and see if that is still true for you. In the long run, you have to decide to get up and go again. You can do this.

Well im in a near predicament to you but to recharge I just take breaks, yes you've probably tried that. Here's my list of boosters for you:

1. when it gets overwhelming, stop and envision how many followers or accolades you may receive and how proud of yourself you can be once done. Easier said and imagined I know.

2. Drink atleast one cup of coffee and have dark hot chocolate without sugar.

3. Drink water make it a spa day at home mask and all, just make sure your mask allows you to write and then wash it off.

4, Dress pretty or sexy upto you.. it works well and imagine yourself a top notch editor in chief.

5. Hand out advice and practice on Quora to re grasp your helping hands. well brain actually but then your hands do your bidding for you.

6. Assume yourself a divine and intuitive person with silent powers and that you are conveying this with some occasional funny and personal twists.

7. GO TO THE GYM DO A REAL WORKOUT WITH MOOD LIFTING MUSIC PLAYLISTS !!! this should be no1, but I dont want you to get tired before you start.

8. Go for a coffee and talk about your ideas to your friends. Ensure you have a small note pad and pencil/pen to brainstorm with your friend, and tell him/ her that you will shout out this post to their name. one you make them feel honored and special and you receive a double oxytocin and dopamine surge just doing so!

9. walk around the town pretty and go to the department store where your products are sold and take your own stock photos.

No.9 I hardly ever have the time to do, but use your real experience in your stories. Its optional to use your own photos.

see talking to you here is like a double feedback, I was in a big slump and I constantly fight myself to get out of it. I have a grand project or few to accomplish in very mesmerizing topics, and I too didn't get cracking down to do it.

Im erratic at best I can sense it and I know it. I dont want to be erratic I know we all crave for consistency and we hear audio books

10. LISTEN TO audio books
11. Listen to dance music, trance for it's stimulating rhythmic tempo. Some say classical music, whatever is your taste.

12. Go for a manicure and pedicure together and sit and dream of how you want to inject your personality in your posts.

I still Feel writing on Quora and reading similar posts are a great inspiration to any writer. Its the pure subject without getting intimidated that our layout doesn't match some high end websites just yet.

Read Kyles' post on perfectionism and how It can kill your mojo.
which is my predicament I'm still suffering it but I dream of grandeur when I imagine my work on Hitting Publish.

That is the crème de la crème of feeling satisfaction emotionally as a writer on a consistent basis.

SOme methods require funds other methods can be absolutely cheap or free.

Ahh the motivation. We all tend to go through this. You should ask yourself Do I really enjoy writing about the niche I picked or could it simply be you need to take a small break and regroup.
I find when I feel unmotivated it's my signal to take a break do something fun you like to do and things will start clicking in my mind and I'm ready to go again.

For me, this is the hardest part and it is definitely what has held me back. My only advice is to think long-term and just grind it out. Once you get into the habit, it does become easier but at the start, it is very frustrating. I am a very slow writer, so used to give myself a target, like write at least 200 words a day, doesn't sound like much (and it isn't) but if I am going to author a 1000+ article on a regular basis, I will be pushing 4-5 article a month. Again when compared to others, that is peanuts, but for me it was progress and I started to get better.

Did you break it down to it's supporting sub-categories (i.e. Where to buy your next drone might break down into the various options - Amazon, DJI, DynnexDrones, etc.). Once broken down you can then focus on each sub-category and write about it.

Also for inspiration on what to write about, join the social media groups related to your niche and see what's being talked about and/or asked. Then write about those topics.

Hey!

There are many people you could offer to pay to write content for you! Keep in mind, you will need a lot of content so that option might add up...

One thing that you need to ask yourself is if the niche you chose was something that you was interested in?

Think to yourself about why you lost your motivation? Was it the topic? Was it your abilities?

Ask yourself these questions to gain clarity as to why you're feeling like this?
