When Feeling Stuck - This Is What I Do

Hi guys,
I haven't updated my blog or anything for I believe a couple of months now. But I felt like I needed to write something to actually come into terms to what's been happening.
I joined WA in October and I've been working on my website with a yoga niche until now, and one of the goals that I set for myself before 2018 ended was to publish at least 30 posts. That... didn't happen. Although I got close - I believed I published 28 posts. I took a week off during the holidays - not doing much but I got mild fever throughout the whole week. It's such an uncomfortable state to be in where you're not really sick but your head and body are just shutting down. Ugh.
I think I took out a lot on myself when I didn't reach the 30 posts goal that I had set. I felt like I was going to that pit again where I just lost all my motivation.
I almostttt wanted to throw in the towels. But. No, I just can't. I know I can't,
I started to remember back all of the reasons for me wanting to start this journey
- Building a sustainable side income
- Being able to quit my 9-5 job if need be
- Finally taking the French course in Montreal for a year
- Having my own place
- Being able to go for a yoga teacher training for a few months
The list goes on. I just knew that I can't stop. I can't stop now.
The only way to move away from this state is to move forward. And I did the one thing that had helped me a lot ever since I started WA. Which is to write things down.

- I started writing WHY I need to continue (examples like above).
- I wrote down my plans for 2019
- I wrote down my goals for 2019
- For each goals, I broke it down into smaller pieces
- Create a plan on how to get into those smaller goals
Just to give you guys an example:
I wanted to build a new website this year (revolves around personal finance - something I'm extremely passionate about) but I don't wanna neglect my yoga niche website. So before I jumped straight into building another website, I'm giving myself 1 month (January) to make sure that my current yoga website is up to date with all the affiliate links, internal SEO etc.
And with that, I broke it down into even smaller pieces on what I should tackle each day. For now, my to-do list everyday for this yoga website would be
- Review 3 articles (make sure affiliate/internal links are there. I just applied for Amazon, that's why I'm only updating the links now)
- Offer 2 comments & Ask for 1 back
- Plan my social media posts on Buffer & Pinterest (I do this twice a week)
Reviewing the articles should finish by next week. After this, I'll concentrate more on:
- Researching keywords & articles to publish
- Hiring a writer
I realized that I cannot take on everything myself, especially if I wanna get on with my 2nd blog. Especially with my 9-5 job that's getting more demanding this year.
I hope by February, I'll get to focus more on building my 2nd website - which I've started planning ever since last year! This website will be more all rounded with YouTube channel, email list etc (in plan at least).
Anyway
I wanted to share this in case there are also some of you here who are starting to feel stuck. I really think that the best way for you to get back up is to start planning at the most granular level. Your daily task.
Focus on what you should do today and the week. It will all snowball.
Hope I'll get to blog again in the future with some good news with my blog(s) :)
Thanks for reading!
