Late Update For February 2021 - Things Are Picking Up!

February flew by... so fast that I really thought it's only been a couple of weeks since the last time I update things on my blog and routine.

Just an update on my daily routine for maximum productivity:

- Yes, I still able to do yoga every day (only about 20 mins)
- Yes, I still meditate every day (depending on how much time I have to spare but usually for about 10 minutes - I use the Headspace app)
- And yes, I'm still writing 5 reviews a week on my MMO niche website and 1 post a week on my personal finance blog.

There were a couple of days last month where I felt a bit burned out - not really burned out but I was really distracted with the newly-found allergy that I have: yeast! (meaning I no longer will be able to bread, cheese, instant noodles, soy sauce, kimchi... sigh #life)

Anyway, jumping into the stats for my MMO niche website that I started in Nov 2020:

Nov: 50 visitors (9 posts)
Dec: 39 visitors (32 posts)
Jan: 105 visitors (53 posts)
Feb:118 visitors (73 posts)

It might still be small but this is solely from doing a few things;

• Only doing reviews
• Sharing only on Facebook & Pinterest
• Request indexing on search console
• Someeeetimes (very rarely) do comment exchange

No paid ads, no newly discovered SEO technique, no FB group sharing etc

Anyway, for my personal finance website, my traffic took a big hit from Pinterest update early last month with pin tagging issue.

But also since I slowed down the content creation there down to only 1 post/week, it's not growing as fast as my MMO niche website.

That said, I tried implementing the same strategy that I use for my MMO niche to my personal finance site and it worked.

You wanna know what the secret is?

Write more reviews :)

I switched my strategy for my PF website from how-to content to reviews and bam my organic traffic started coming in just like that in a matter of a few days!

A few things that work for me:

• Just write more reviews
• Write reviews about newly-launched products
• I use Ubersuggest chrome extension but you can also use Moz - and see what are DA of the websites on Google's Page 1 for your targeted keyword. If no one is below 15, I usually look for other keywords (this depends on YOUR website's DA)
• Just keep on writing, it'll get easier :)

It used to take me hours to create 1 article. Now it only takes me 2 and half hours to 3 hours top to research AND write those articles.

Hopefully, I can give more great updates for March! :)

March is my birthday month, the winning vibe is strong in me hehe
