Procrastination is my best friend
Well you could say that not all of my time has been wasted, but it has not been very useful either!
You see I greeted 2011 with some major changes in store for my life which might be my downfall of taking on too much at once such as quitting smoking after 20 years of suffocating my lungs...yep this is my second week without a smoke, so big coodos for me :)
I have also come to the realisation that I NO LONGER need my boss, so I have given myself one year to get my business on it's feet. Yes, I have sacked my boss! However she will not find out until the end of the year.....but I have fired her!
I will no longer be on call 24 hours of the day for friends nor will I sacrifice quality time with my kids just to please others. I was quite a huge pushover for years and sadly quite blind to this fact.
I believe this term is called "Taking Back Control" and after 6 years of being in la la land I really needed to do this.
This brings me to WA. I joined in February and of course... love it! The stupid thing I am doing now is constantly researching, you know what I mean just reading everything I can and before I know it, it is late and I still haven't done a bloomin thing.
My best friend lately has been procrastination when it comes to IM, but do you blame me, there is so much to read in here and I get carried away with it all.
See what I mean, I am procrastinating, making excuses, it's all lies I tell you...ALL LIES!!!
Ok, enough with the meltdown!
Actually, when I hate my job, I work on IM every night, but when work is bearable IM takes a back seat. Maybe I need to pick a fight with my boss? Just kidding.
Did you know that you could read thousands of words and "how to" guides and still not know where to begin? With that been said I need to be realistic with myself.
I think the best thing to start off with is to stop over thinking everything I have learnt with IM and just to get on with it.
