We sure get a lot of these reminders about this or that offer lasting just 24 hours or closing at midnight FOREVER! Now, this tactic is a completely legitimate marketing technique but it has to be genuine or your list will soon lose faith in you. Incidentally, fans of 24 might be amused to learn this bit of trivia which I've literally just discovered while I was researching the card game Euchre:

The word Bower comes from the German Bauer, which means farmer or peasant and is also a word for Jack.

All this time we've been hooked on the derring do of Jack Jack!
