Need To Just Have A Little Faith

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who had doubts about affiliate marketing and being able to make an income from home. When I first heard of the idea, I was intrigued. My first exposure to making money online was through binary options from a Facebook friend. Unfortunately, I found the material too complex for me and I wasn't able to put in the time to attempt to understand it. However, my acquaintance had a service where he would manage my brokerage account for me and for a while, things were looking great. But due to the company's policy that I overlooked after opening the account, and the time it took to get everything in order, there were no longer any funds in the account.

As you would imagine, I was very disappointed. However, after having that taste of financial freedom, I went looking into other ventures and finally landed here. Unlike the binary, this avenue showed how business are truly made. It takes time and effort. Time and effort that, I'll admit, I don't put in enough of due to me being lazy after my 9 - 5. It's funny how during these times of laziness, I grow fearful of always working a 9 - 5 for the rest of my life, but when I find myself working on my website and my content, I'm hopeful. I realize now that maybe why I get lazy from time to time is that I'm nervous or scared to write content. There's always a little voice I hear when I publish something that says "Is this good enough", "Will people enjoy it", "I hope I'm not plagiarizing someone else's work", "What if all of this will be another failure?"

Sometimes that voice gets the better of me sometimes, but a couple of Sundays ago at my church, our pastor talked about in his message how important faith is. Faith is the belief in something we can't see. And because we don't see it, it can make us fearful about our future from time to time. However, FDR put it best when he said "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself". So I'm here to tell you (and to remind myself), don't be afraid to try. How many times have you heard "Nothing ventured, nothing gained" or "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take". Binary options may not have worked out for me, but I gave it a shot. And now here I am giving WA a shot, and here, I honestly feel more hopeful. As long we believe in ourselves and have faith, everything will turn out OK. I choose to believe that. Even if, God forbid, things don't work out for me here at Wealthy Affiliate, I'm always happy of the time I spend here learning with everyone. It's an awesome community
