Persistence in Affiliate Marketing and Blogging Pays - Woke Up to $106
So, I've been here for around 8 months now. Still loving it! Thanks everyone for an awesome community.
I remember someone saying, give it at least a year. So, I said to myself, why not? What if I don't give it a year (this whole blogging and affiliate marketing thing). What would happen? Well, a year from now I wouldn't be further than I was on that day. I might have even been worse off.
Then I asked myself, What if I DO give it a year? What would happen. Well, I could be making $20,000 a month from my blog like I see so many other bloggers do.
So, I made the decision and the commitment and haven't looked back.
Anyway, my first blog post on my new blog was on May 16, 2018. For the first 6 months, I really didn't make much from my blog. A few dollars here and there from Google Adsense is all.
But, I persisted. I kept working at it, despite my results. While I'm on my 8th month with this blog and haven't yet gotten even close to $20,000 a month. I am FINALLY starting to see some results. They may not be huge right now, but it's a good sign my foundation is finally set and my work is going to start paying off.
Last month I made $46 with my blog ($10 Adsense $36 affiliate marketing)
This month I made $116 ($10 Adsense $106 affiliate marketing)
Pretty cool. Can't wait until I start making $1,000 or more a month!
I've brought in a couple WA free members this month. I think now that I have my foundation of my blog created and I have a bunch of posts, I'm going to really start writing more about WA (but I'm really saving that for an exclusive WA blog I'll be setting up once I get momentum on this current one and it's bringing in money passively).
It's a journey and I believe that's the most fun part...building and growing. :-)
