Learning how to market to customers

I have been working a lot behind the scenes on my business. I have been doing a lot of research on the proper way to build a business. I discovered the idea of creating an ideal customer for products.

I have done just that. I have my customer a name, age, kids, pets, jobs, and other lifestyle choices. I now write all my blog post with her in mind. It is almost like talking to your friend. I did this so I can target the right customers for my sites.

This also prevents you from trying to pleas the masses! Once you understand that you are not marketing to the entire world but a certain type of customer, the writing part becomes easier.

Something else I learned is that I can not please everyone. I learn to write as myself and not stop trying to be something that I am not. BELIEVE me the writing becomes easier.

I have also learn to budget my time better. I set up a weekly schedule of what to do. That way I am not spending all of my free time working on my business, since I still work a 9-5.

I am learning a lot about the person I am. I am also enjoying that process.
