How to track your affiliate links and see if they are being clicked on
(photo provided by wikipedia)
As an online marketing person you probably want to keep track of what works and what doesn't and do more of what works.
The Link Tracker built into Wealthy Affiliate is a pretty good basic tool that allows you to track your affiliate links and get a sense of what placements are working better than others.
Stephanie asked how to use it so I thought I would do a video
Here's my video tutorial

Hi Wayne
Good video. I followed your instructions. 2 things
1) When I create a campaign there is NO save button.
2) In C-Summary I see the campaign I created and showing 0 clicks, 0 links
I should see 2 clicks because I tried twice to WA home page
What can be wrong?
John
maybe try a different browser? I use chrome. refresh the window to see updates or click into campain then drill down to the specific campaign to see updates
Wayne, I created a new campaign, and saved it
Same thing. I copy my Aff. Link and go to WA but it does not show
John
Hi John,
Just make sure you are copying the new "my-linker" link provided under the "Link Name" once you are inside your particular campaign.
so you created the tracker link successfully?
you have the tracker name and it points to the right place?
open a different browser that's not logged into WA and paste the tracker link in the browser
go back and check it and it should show and update click I've done this many times so I know it works
Wayne, thanks again. I got it to work. Had to use Chrome for the whole window to show. In Firefox I could not scroll down to the "save" button.
John
Awesome as always Wallace thanks.
Just one thing, is it just me or are we unable to right click on our WA links?
Where are you right clicking? Don't know what you mean? If it's a link you can just click, right click if you want to copy the link or open in a new window.
