I've known of WA for two years...I became a member/premium member almost a year ago.
Roughly seven months ago I "launched" my first two websites. I quote the word launch because I did nothing more than add wordpress to the domains I bought. I haven't even changed the lorem epsum material yet.
I did this because I was highly skeptical/cynical in regards to WA as a platform. Nothing against the community, I love the community. Pretty awesome bunch.
Anyway, I did the partial/incomplete launch of my websites to see how long it would take for the websites to earn the google badge here at wealthy affiliates. I wasn't surprised when they both earned that recognition in only a few weeks. Like I said, I began with a chip on my shoulder.
Long story short, there are things that I like, things I don't....and a few that I find totally ugly.
But I find there is enough redemptive qualities to the platform that I'm going to give it a real shot.
This post is simply me announcing my day 1/lesson 1 reboot.
More to the point:
I'm going to follow the training for the next 30 days and documenting my journey on a daily basis for the next month.
Wish I could say I was brand new at all this...but I did the next best thing....I stayed away for nearly six months in order to forget most of the likes/dislikes & perceptions I had in my first run thru the program.
I hope you find my upcoming journey at least useful as a counterpoint to your own.
