Core “Business Start Up” Training

WA Affiliate Program
Updated

Just reading on here and had a question pop up. In reading an article on online income streams I had this question pop up.

One can make money from Freelance writing. Do p

You dont earn from posting on WA (if they did, then think about how many people would make tons of money). As other said, money is earned from posting training videos. You can also earn if someone signs up for WA using your referral link.

No, you do not earn from writing blogs on WA, you can earn for writing training, course or video

Ah right on then. Very cool to know. I had just wondered as I see alot of people doing writing here.

The writing is Google indexed and when people come to WA via a blog of you, and stays, it'll be your referral. So it's an extra chance for referrals.

Check the Affiliate Bootcamp, the black tab on the left. This is all about writing about WA and earning.

Will do this. I asked cuz I see alot of people here doing alot of writing.

Im curious to know the difference between Rubix and having your own domain ............

Hey Dan,

This post may help explain it best: https://www.sistrix.com/ask-sistrix/onpage-optimisation/what-is-the-difference-between-a-url-domain-subdomain-hostname-etc/

The free websites here are actually sub-domains.

Just as a for instance, when you hand out a business card (clearly, no active link possible), and you have a 54-character long domain, how many of those folks whose only contact with you is that card, are going to spend the time to enter your domain name correctly? Really, get your own (short, easy to remember, better chance to get indexed and ranked) domain name. Best wishes for your success!

You have a better chance of being ranked higher by using your own .com

The training has often noted that it was better in the long run to have your own domain (separate from siterubix). Not sure why. I wonder if it is an issue of transferability?

Does it really matter and why ?

I know Amazon is an excellent choice but how many people here are using the Facebook or Google platform ?

Also, there's a difference between Google Adwords and Adsense. Adsense is the platform that puts ads next to your content and will pay you when people click. Adwords lets you put ads on various platforms like Google, YouTube, (I'm prettty sure Adsense), mobile, and others. Its very important to understand the difference. There are a few stories floating around where a person confused the two, and ended up with a huge Adwords bill when they thought they were making lots of money on Adsense!

To advertise Amazon products? I use FB for my Amazon affiliate site. Never had much luck with Adwords though. :/

Yeah thats what i was thinking.

Hi,

those are completely different things.
Most people use Amazon as an affiliate partner. To find products we can recommend and earn commissions.

Google, Facebook, etc. are platforms on which you can (and should) advertise to drive more traffic to your site.
That can be done through interaction and posting or by paying for ads.

So say someone buys 4 RC Cars at 167.00 each in 1 transaction. Do u get the 4 - 8% commisions on each RC Car bought or just the one ?

And if the person at the last minute remembered they needed to buy cat food and added that to cart, you'd get 4% of that, too! :-) I really like that you can get commissions for other stuff that the person puts into their cart in addition to the item you are selling, or even instead of. They might buy a competing product once they click over into the Amazon Rabbit Hole and see what else is available and read some reviews...

Yep, you get a commission on all and everything the customer buys. That's why I love Amazon :)

Excellent question and looks like you received a great answer too. I was wondering this myself. Now we both know! :)
Sue

You would get the commission on the total amount purchased.

Just curious do commissions compound. ?
