Getting There!
My website, Sweet et Salty, is up and running and I am plugging away at consistently adding content to it. I am excited for the next step in this process, that of getting affiliate markets! I think it is important to keep my goals realistic so I am not disappointed and discouraged if I don't attain them as quickly as I would like.
I hope to start making some income from my website in around six months, until then I remind myself of this goal and the importance of consistency. Even if I'm not really seeing much for results at this point, continuing to create content on my site is vital. I always enjoy the training at Wealthy Affiliate, it is encouraging and exciting.
So for the next several months, I work at my content. I will also continue the training and remember to focus on the goal. It is a long-term goal which is more important than an instant goal that might not last!

Great point. I believe your goal is very realistic....mine is very similar.
Of course, wouldn’t we LOVE to see results right now? Lol
But, I’m being patient in my tasks and going through the training here. I know with each one, I am getting closer to that goal.
I also agree with not being too disappointed if the goal is not met for a certain time frame. I set my goal between 6-12 months to give myself a little flexibility.
Having said that, I still feel somewhat accomplished already for just being here and sticking with it, not giving up when I got frustrated. I’m still excited and moving forward.
