I must be doing something wrong ! Maybe Someone Can Help
I am working mostly on my parent-advisor website. I get a good amount of clicks for my amazon products but no one buys. I am doing reviews. I have had trouble with this for years. If anyone has any suggestions I would be greatful. Thank you Karen

Hi Karen
I checked out your site. You've got some good information on there but it's a little bit confusing. Your article "How to Find the Best Preschool for Your Child" has quite a few links in it but when I hover over them, they are all about creating a Facebook account. It would be better if you inserted a link to a book or some other helpful and related resource.
With reference to your article "Is Your Child’s Behavior Out of Control?" Maybe the promotion for the Giveaway should be right under the sentence after your first picture, as opposed to it being at the top of the page. Overall, it seems like a bit of organization and strategic placement of your links are necessary. Just a suggestion, and I hope it as helpful.
I don't know if this will help or not... but I believe in giving my readers more places to click and more places to go after they read whatever they came to my site to read. I do this by utilizing my sidebar and widgets. You can see my new site at www.lovedarla.com. Another example of advertising your amazon products by using the sidebar is making "must have lists" or "top ten baby products" etc., as seen on this site www.frommrstomama.blogspot.com. By setting up a separate Page to link to (before the reader clicks through to Amazon), she can refer to the same page over and over again in her other posts.
how relevant are the amazon products to the articles? are the amazon ads links to specific items mentioned in the post or just click links in the side bar?
They are relevant. But I have a separate section for book reviews or reviews of products. Maybe I should have it as part of the article. I do get the clicks people just dont buy.
if you are reviewing something then the link should be close to where you are reviewing it so that the people that are reading the review who are already interested in what ever it is are there ready to click the link. if you put the link somewhere else then anyone could be clicking it.
I get clicks so I wonder if I am picking wrong products although I go for the best sellers, or if my writing is not persuasive. I am not great at sales.
maybe you could just test a few different types of products in different price brackets to see what attracts your viewers
It's not a matter of being great at sales. It is about how a product helps someone with a problem. So it is a matter of getting the product in front of the right person.

I suggest more information as to how the books tie into the articles. Also, more detailed book reviews would be helpful.
I read Kevin's review at The Most Relevant Book I Read in 2016 I bought both books after reading his post.
