It is has been six 6 months since joining Wealthy Affiliate WA

I would like to share my experiences of the last six (6) months since joining WA. It has been a great experience because I have learnt a lot about conducting business online. I would say; this is time well spent as every week I dedicate time to read, research and write blogs on my website as well as learning tools, concepts and strategies of online business or inbound marketing.

At the same time, I have learnt to be patient as with any business things don’t happen overnight. I am glad to have met new people here at WA and to learn new ways that could be used to generate income online.

In addition to this learning,including search engine optimization (SEO), inbound marketing, social media and creating websites; this experience has helped me to keep abreast with trends and developments happening in my field of expertise (solar energy development). As a result, I came across an online system that is amazing for people that are interested in going solar. Today been my sixth month here at WA, I am optimistic that I will start generating good traffic and hence start to get conversions. Currently, I am relying to generate traffic for the website using SEO and anytime I write articles I am ranking anywhere between page 3 and 7 of google; but for the initial keywords I started with I am already ranking page one of google. However, these initial keywords are of low competition and therefore have low search volumes. Currently I am receiving about 200 organic traffic and about 800 traffic from social media. I would be glad if you can share your experiences of getting or increasing traffic apart from SEO and social media.

The only challenge I have now is creating time to research and write blogs, but I have managed to be writing at least one blog every week. I would like to write at least 3 blogs every week as this would greatly impact my website rankings on google. The other challenge I have is obtaining back links for my website which I believe come when your website gains authority in your niche.

I am thankful for the WA community as through this forum, I have learned a lot and I will continue to share my experiences with time. Thank you and I look forward to your comments.
