Hi

I have not seen this on my small but illustrious network. Below is a link to a BBC article warning of a new super PC virus Shellshock. Unlike Heartbleed ( Aprils big threat) this is after taking over control of systems. Have a look if this sounds like something that could make you sweat.

Ouch. Awful! Thanks for sharing.

Glad someone's looking out. Thanks for the heads up. And folks wonder why I ask that you email me instead of other means of communication. I wonder what's next?

Thank you Tim for sharing this information! God's Blessings, Christa :)

Yes, let's hope not! That would be awful!

One question though...if the bug attacks the large server systems,(like Google for example) how does that make it a threat to little old me (and others) with at the moment very low rankings to get Google interested in me? Seems like a lot more trouble trying to find someone on a small scale. This seems more like the kind of a bug that a legitimate terrorist would use to shut down power grids,or early warning systems. Or am I misunderstanding something in the article?

Hey Wallwolf. Thank you for the compliment. "Budding Giant?" Wow, making me blush but yeah that would be nice. (looking for that early retirement with this venture.) We are ALL BUDDING GIANTS THOUGH because of how WA runs their business.
I also am involved in LinkedIn to a bit, and joined up with their "Affiliates Marketing Group" I've got to say, sometimes the non response is as good an indicator as the reviews we see. Apparently a lot of the Affls competition doesn't like WA. As I'm being currently blasted on my LI site with competition claiming (once again and as usual) that their "Stuff" will make me tons of $$$'s if I want to join (as in pay) for their guru stuff. Word of mouth is always the best way to advertise and market because if WOM can attrack hundreds of thousands of people to this market and they become successful...well who needs to bother with bragging rights on LI? Just goes to show how really fortunate we all are to have found this Garden of Giants.
