1st Page On Google The Slow Way Works If The Tech Is Driving You Crazy
Hello Anyone,
I don't do so well on the social aspect of WA. I can't help you much with tech stuff. I have been on the site for eight years except for a small break, but I bet many in their first month could teach me a lot.
I have the basics. I understand some SEO and abide by a few Wordpress best habits. What I did remember most about my training was a simple statement. I think it was Kyle. He said at first don't worry about the best keywords etc. Just get lots of quality content up there.
That bike above is a very slow old bike. I have faster bikes. I have pretty bikes. The tech side of that bike is 40 years old. It could not keep up with a little European hatchback.
My way of writing up my website is like that bike. I just wrote and wrote. Now I have many articles on there, 220 plus. I started on 21st Feb 2021. Now I find on many I am right up there on page one on Google. I rank higher than some main news sources on the same subject and even slide above YouTube sometimes.
So if you are struggling a bit with the tech side. If all you really want it to crack on and get that website about your niche as good as you can...like that old bike you might not win a race, but you will get there.
Quick is better if you can balance both...I'm just throwing this out there for the frustrated writer etc that might be getting a bit despondent, Take Care

Hi Paula, I take nothing away from the training. The network is great and I remember locking myself away for days doing the boot camp. WA is so laid back as far as you being allowed to do your own thing. I have created Wordpress for others and made a few pounds a while ago. I'm just not a tech person:) I have to force myself. I was really surprised last week when I was looking. In fairness it was Kyle who said just write to start. I just didn't stop. You have a good day and thank you for your words. Tim
